Jeremy Sachs-Michaels was born in Lower Manhattan in the mid 1980s and raised in the Hudson Valley, the son of a criminal defense attorney and a modern dancer who later pursued a life in alternative healing. He studied at Bard College at Simon's Rock and the Rhode Island School of Design, and began in New York as an assistant and digital tech, working with Gilles Bensimon, George Lange, Hans Neumann and Massimo Vitali. He also directs, with a practice rooted in Super 8. He now works in New York and Los Angeles, and lives in LA with his partner of sixteen years and their daughter, Venus. He takes commissions worldwide, and a commercial portfolio is available on request.
