Jeremy was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Hudson Valley.
At the age of 16 he began his college studies at Bard College at Simon’s Rock.
Two years later he transferred to the Rhode Island School of Design.
He graduated from RISD in 2007 having earned his BFA in photography.
He moved to New York and began working in all areas of high-level photography production.
In the spring of 2010 Jeremy Sachs-Michaels Photography was born.
He now works internationally with home bases in Los Angeles and Brooklyn, New York.
Classic portraiture, quiet moments, and an appreciation for romance in the everyday inspire Jeremy’s aesthetic.
He’s always been a mama’s boy.
He feels emotional during movies in which the underdog succeeds.
He now lives with his wife and a cat named Romeo who he found as a kitten in floorboards of a barn, over 18 years ago.
